Our Team

Trevor D. McKee, PhD

Trevor D. McKee, PhD

Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Trevor McKee has a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from MIT, and has spent the last two and a half decades applying computer vision techniques to the analysis of biomedical images. He spent 14 years as director of the STTARR Innovation Centre Image Analysis Core, where he led a team of programmers to develop quantitative analysis methods of spatial biology datasets spanning brightfield, multiplex and imaging mass cytometry images. He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications in these fields, and is a part of the JEDIS council - Joint Effort to Develop Immunofluorescence Standards - working to move modern multiplex staining methods to routine clinical use. He is co-founder and CEO of Pathomics.io, a spatial biology analytics company developing solutions for multiplex analysis.

Trang Vu, PhD

Trang Vu, PhD

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Trang Vu has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology where she focused her research on the mechanisms of nuclear receptors in breast and colon cancers. She successfully created an intestinal ERb knockout mouse which is currently being used as a model to study colon cancer. After receiving her doctorate degree, Dr. Vu worked as a consultant for many agricultural companies including those in the farming, poultry, seed, and cattle industries. At the beginning of covid, she left consulting to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a poultry farmer. She currently still owns and operates a 100-acre poultry farm, raising more than 5 million pounds of meat per year. After covid, Dr. Vu joined a Bay Area biotech company as the Partnership and Strategic Alliances Manager. As Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Vu seeks to transform Pathomics.ai into an industry leader in the field of multiplexing multi-omics analysis.

Alex Mardon

Chief Commercial Officer

Alex Mardon is a results-oriented Sales Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Philosophy from Stony Brook University. During his time as a Senior Regional Area Manager at HistoWiz in San Francisco from 2019 to 2023, Alex excelled in generating new business opportunities, developing strategic sales plans, and exceeding quarterly sales targets. He also served as a Researcher at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he conducted in-depth analysis for image-guided therapy research. With strong leadership skills and proficiency in various aspects of sales and business development, including account management, recruitment, and digital marketing, Alex is poised to drive revenue growth and exceed business objectives in any sales-driven organization.
